Crystal Mountain School of Therapeutic Massage
Crystal Mountain's Faculty Selection and Credentials

Each Faculty member at Crystal Mountain must be a registered massage therapy instructor in the state of New Mexico. This means our Faculty needs to have:

Practiced as a licensed massage therapist for at least two years; had at least fifty hours of instructional experience under the supervision of a more experienced faculty member

Had instruction in teaching methods and principles

Receives further education every year, over and above the number of hours of continuing education required for license renewal

Each lead faculty member has at least five years of professional experience as a massage therapist, and some have twenty to thirty years of experience both practicing and teaching.

Our teaching staff have their own private practices, implementing daily what they’re teaching, so they have first-hand, recent experience to share with their students. Our philosophy of education and our desire to help each student develop their own unique style of massage is what attracts serious, professional teachers to our staff. Some of our faculty attend Crystal Mountain and are very aware of the personal growth and development students experience while going through our program. Those who didn’t attend Crystal mountain are drawn to teach here because of our emphasis on working with the whole client and student, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and because they value our service to the community.
