Why Choose Crystal Mountain?

We have the highest faculty to student ratio of any massage school in New Mexico. Our instructors are also practicing massage therapists who have advanced certification in the subjects they teach. All eight of our teachers are registered massage instructors.  Look at our "Faculty Profiles"  to view the level of education and experience of each teacher. Students benefit from the many years of experience and different styles that our teachers bring into the classroom.

Within the 200 hours of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Kinesiology portion of our curriculum, we discuss the latest medical research. Students are taught to evaluate the validity of research reported in medical journals and other publications.

We prepare you well to pass the national licensing exam.  Since the inception of the new Massage Board Licensing Exam, (Mblex) 98% of our graduates have passed it on the first try.

We work with each student's strengths and abilities to bring out their excellence. Our classes are small and a faculty advisor is assigned to every student. The advisor helps guide the student throughout the entire program.

Crystal Mountain now has financing plans available with low monthly payments for up to 3 years.

Crystal Mountain is eligible to accept both the Montgomery GI Bill,  the Post 9/11 GI Bill  and the VRAP program through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

We also accept the MyCAA, career advancement account, for spouses in the military.

Both day and a night programs are available. You can complete our day program in less than seven months. Our night program can be completed in eleven months. Crystal Mountain has been training massage therapists since 1988.

We are involved in many community fundraising projects throughout the year. Our students gain additional training and experience by working at these events.

The supervised Clinical component further trains students in improving their communication, assessment and treatment skills. By the end of their training, students are "thinking therapists". They have the ability to construct a treatment plan for clients that will be truly effective.

Our Business classes will prepare you for life after school. You will be knowledgeable in what it takes to start your own business, latest marketing trends, zoning and regulations and insurance billing.

Albuquerque is a terrific place to go to massage therapy school. It’s near wonderful hiking and other recreational opportunities that exist throughout scenic New Mexico.
